Lux 23 formerly known as Black Pearl Naturals was founded in 2010 by Shawnetta Farewell a mother & black entrepreneur after her son Mujahid suffered from severe eczema and none of the over-the-counter medications worked. Mrs. Farewell seen a lack of natural skin care products in the mainstream beauty market and decided to take matters into her own hands. After taking skin care classes and doing countless hours of research and relying on her faith she found the formula to not only remove the harsh chemicals from skin care products but products that actually work. She formulated the goats milk lotion, which cleared her son's eczema as soon as it touched his skin. She didn't stop there, while having uncontrolled acne herself she created the second product, the "Fabulous Face Bar" which was game changer. Our products here at LUX 23 has cured hundreds of customers with problematic skin issues and elevated their skin care routine.
